How to get to Terminal 3 by Metro?

Here’s how to get to Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport by metro:

  1. Take the Red Line. The Red Line is the main line of the Dubai Metro and runs from Rashidiya Station in the north to Jebel Ali Station in the south. All trains on the Red Line stop at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 stations.
  2. Buy a Nol Card. The Nol Card is a rechargeable travel card that you can use to pay for your metro fare. You can buy a Nol Card from any metro station.
  3. Top up your Nol Card. You can top up your Nol Card at any Nol Card machine in any metro station. The fare for a single journey on the metro depends on how many zones you travel through. The journey from any station to Terminal 3 is one zone.
  4. Board the train. Look for a train heading towards Jebel Ali. The trains are marked with their destination.
  5. Get off at Terminal 3 station. The station is announced before the train arrives, and signs inside the train indicate the next station.
  6. Follow the signs for the airport. Once you get off the train, follow the signs for the airport. The walk from the station to the terminal is short and well-signed.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:

  • The Dubai Metro is very clean and efficient. Trains run every few minutes, so you won’t have to wait long for a train.
  • There are separate cabins for women and children on the metro.
  • You are not allowed to eat or drink on the metro.
  • Tap your Nol Card when you enter and exit the station.
